Presentation
Nintender was the champion stallion of the Oldenburg Verband's jumping division (OS) in 2004. He won the 30-day test, earning a perfect 10.0 for his jumping ability and a total score of 9.13 in showjumping. Nintender enjoyed great success in young horse classes and later achieved strong placements in Grand Prix competitions with Jannike West.
When Nintender was approved in Sweden, he received the following evaluations: "Noble, masculine, and tall with an expressive head. He has a large, effortless jump with excellent technique, especially behind. His canter is light, elastic, and adjustable."
Offspring
Nintender, with the breeding value designation A, has also been widely used in Germany. His offspring are light, noble, and athletic. Notable descendants include Dingeman (placed up to GP CSI5*), Ninloubet (placed up to GP CSIO5*), Ninyon (1.50m in CSIO5*), and Nashville HR (1.55m in CSI4*).
Pedegree
The sire, Namelus R, was the vice-champion at his KWPN approval but sustained an injury at the age of six, preventing further competition. Namelus R is by Concorde, tracing back to Voltaire, and has produced numerous international top horses.
The dam’s sire, Contender, won his 100-day test in Adelsheidsdorf as a three-year-old. He became an incredibly popular breeding stallion, with over 1,900 competing offspring in Germany alone. Some of his notable progeny include Checkmate (Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum) and the stallions Contendro I, Con Air, and Conterno Grande, as well as Ludger Beerbaum’s Chiara. Internationally, he has around 170 approved sons.
The dam, K-Nambia, is also the mother of S. Nambia 56 (international 1.60m, Kyle King), Vegas 55 (international 1.45m), and the approved stallion Reno 55. K-Nambia belongs to Holsteiner damline 1907, which has also produced the approved stallions Consul and Collino, as well as World Cup winner Anka (Marcus Ehning).
Nintender is approved in Selle Français, Oldenburg, Westphalia, Zangersheide, Danish Warmblood, and SWB.
